But I didn’t grow up dreaming of KPIs or backend systems.
I was just the first in my family to go to college, trying to figure it out as I went.

I picked Washington State University because it was far enough from home to feel like a fresh start. It ended up being one of the best decisions of my life. It’s where I met my husband. Built friendships that turned into business partnerships. And discovered a part of myself I didn’t know existed, someone who actually loved business.

Like, loved it.

I geeked out over presentations. Lived for case studies. Placed in the business plan competition.
Graduated with a degree in Entrepreneurship and launched straight into the real world consulting, startups, market analysis, and eventually… weddings?

Yeah. The pivot was real. And necessary.

While I was building a career doing market analysis for Washington businesses through WSU’s Seattle office, I was also doing hair and makeup on the weekends. Weddings. Photoshoots. Fashion shows. What started as a creative outlet quickly became a legit business and the more it grew, the more I realized I loved being the one calling the shots.  

So I went all in. I opened a salon.

It was the perfect storm: I finally got to apply everything I’d studied in business school to something of my own. And I thrived. But while I was building my dream business, my industry friends were burning out, struggling with flaky clients, or drowning in the backend. So I started helping. Fixing pricing. Streamlining their offers. Building the systems they didn’t even know they needed.

One “quick question” turned into another… and another.

Eventually, the demand for strategy outweighed the hours I had behind the chair. So I pivoted again this time into coaching full-time.

Today, I work with business owners in the multi-6 to multi-7 figure range.
