“It felt a little more broad, it felt more expansive, like there were more possibilities. That I didn't have to just look to other people in my own industry to say this is possible. There were 10 other women there all making it happen in business, all coming at it from their own point of view. But in the middle of everything is a Venn Diagram. Everything in the middle applied to all of us. And that was actually very refreshing for me, because it wasn't so niche specific that I could take it in my own direction.”

“It's not a money problem but it's a good problem. My issue is that, here I am this person that has no business experience, started a business. It's grown. It's taken off and I'm now full time. But now I'm like, how do I make this company bigger? How do I grow? Because it's going without me. So I need to figure out what to do to make it actually sustainable and functional in the future.”

“In a season where it could be so easy to think about the future planning for the next year, setting intentions, it's extremely important to pause and really get clear on what success means in the first place. “I've been able to create these systems within my business to where I'm obviously still growing and whatnot. And I don't think that that will ever stop. Because I think that it's unhealthy if we stopped growing. However, even with that growth mindset, and constantly running towards that next, whatever it may be, I make it a huge, huge priority to have those downtime with my family.”

“Get clear on where you're going and why. And really be confident in that path before you open yourself up to receiving anything else or any other kind of support, regardless of the investment level. That is probably the most important part of being a business owner is being able to discern what is for you and what is not. Because sometimes things may be for you, just later. Be okay with that.“

“You can absolutely do this. You can achieve whatever goal that you set for yourself. And I would shut off all the noise and the distractions and just hone in on what that goal looks like for you.”
